Mario Amendola
Mario Natalino Concetto Amendola (8 December 1910 – 22 December 1993) was an Italian screenwriter, film director and dramatist. Biography Amendola was born in Recco, which is located in Genova to parents from Rome. He began his career on stage in 1931 as a writer for Avanspettacolo, avanspettacolo shows. During that time, he wrote dialogue for Erminio Macario, Totò and more. He ended this profession and moved to cinema in 1949. He wrote for 153 films between 1941 and 1987. He also directed 37 films between 1949 and 1975. Amendola collaborated with Bruno Corbucci on conceiving the Nico Giraldi film series starring Tomas Milian. Amendola died in 1993 from complications from diabetes. Stelvio Rosi
Stelvio Rosi (1 August 1938 – 19 December 2018), also known as Stan Cooper, was an Italian film actor. Life and career Born in Rome, Rosi made his film debut as a child actor in 1942, in Ferdinando Maria Poggioli's ''Yes, Madam''. He reprised his acting career in the early 1960s and was initially used almost exclusively in teen comedies and musicarelli films. In 1968 he changed his image and his name and as Stan Cooper he was cast in the leading roles in a number of genre films, often adventure or war films. He worked several times with director José Luis Merino. In 1973 he retired from his acting career and moved to South America, where among other things he worked as a film and video producer in Rio de Janeiro. Tony Renis (born 13 May 1938), stage name of Elio Cesari, is an Italian singer, composer, music producer and film actor. Life and career Renis was born in Milan. In the mid-1950s he met with Adriano Celentano, and the two started performing an impression of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. In 1958, he was signed by the label "Combo Records", and released a few cover versions of Italian and American rock 'n' roll songs as lead vocalist of the band Combos. In 1961, Renis debuted at the Sanremo Music Festival with the song "Pozzanghere". In 1962, Renis returned to the Sanremo Music Festival where he gained international recognition with the song " Quando, quando, quando", written with Alberto Testa. One year later, he won the Festival with the song "Uno per tutte", and, in 1967, he finished second with the song "Quando dico che ti amo".
