Sid And Marty Krofft
Sid Krofft (born July 30, 1929) and Marty Krofft (born April 9, 1937) are a Canadian sibling team of television creators and puppeteers. Through their production company, Sid & Marty Krofft Pictures, they have made numerous children's television and variety show programs in the U.S., particularly in the 1970s, including '' H.R. Pufnstuf'' , '' Land of the Lost'' and ''Sigmund and the Sea Monsters'' . Their fantasy programs often feature large-headed puppets, high-concept plots, and extensive use of low-budget special effects. ''The Bugaloos'' is an American children's television series, produced by brothers Sid and Marty Krofft, that aired on NBC on Saturday mornings from 1970 to 1972. Orinda is a city in Contra Costa County, California, United States. The city's population as of the 2020 census is estimated at 19,514 residents. History Orinda is located within four Mexican land grants: Rancho Laguna de los Palos Colorados, Rancho Acalanes, Rancho El Sobrante and Rancho Boca de la Cañada del Pinole. ''Land of the Lost'' is a half-hour Saturday-morning children's television series that debuted on ABC in the fall of 1991, a remake of the original series of the same name which ran from 1974 to 1976. ''Pryor's Place'' is an American children's television series that aired for one season in 1984 on CBS. The live-action series starred comedian Richard Pryor as himself. Overview Despite a reputation for profanity from Richard Pryor, ''Pryor's Place'' was aimed at children. ''Wonderbug'' is a segment of the first and second season of the American television series '' The Krofft Supershow'', from 1976 to 1978. It was shot in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. The show was rerun as part of ABC's Sunday morning series. Plot Wonderbug's alter ego "Schlepcar" (so named due to its personalized California license plate "SCHLEP") was an old, beat up, conglomeration of several junked cars that looked like a rusty dune buggy. Like Herbie of The Walt Disney Company film fame, Schlepcar was alive and could drive itself, and could also talk in a mumbling voice. It was found in a junk yard by teenagers Barry Buntrock ( David Levy), C.C. McNamara ( John Anthony Bailey) and Susan Talbot (Carol Anne Seflinger).
