Shoot To Thrill
"Shoot to Thrill" is a song by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It is the second track on the 1980 album ''Back in Black''. This song is also the second track of ''AC/DC Live'' and ''AC/DC Live: 2 CD Collector's Edition'', and is included on the ''Iron Man 2'' soundtrack. Although the studio version was never released as a single, the song is a fan favourite and a staple on classic rock radio stations. Music video On 26 January 2010, a new music video for "Shoot to Thrill" was released with exclusive footage from the film ''Iron Man 2''. The live concert footage used in the video was filmed in December 2009 at a concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina at the Estadio Monumental, from which the '' Live at River Plate'' DVD was filmed. AC/DC
AC/DC (stylised as ACϟDC) are an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by Scottish-born brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Their music has been variously described as hard rock, blues rock, and heavy metal, but the band calls it simply "rock and roll". AC/DC underwent several line-up changes before releasing their first album, 1975's ''High Voltage''. Membership subsequently stabilised around the Young brothers, singer Bon Scott, drummer Phil Rudd, and bassist Mark Evans. The A-side and B-side are the two sides of phonograph records and cassettes; these terms have often been printed on the labels of two-sided music recordings. The A-side usually features a recording that its artist, producer, or record company intends to be the initial focus of promotional efforts and radio airplay and hopefully become a hit record. The B-side (or "flip-side") is a secondary recording that typically receives less attention, although some B-sides have been as successful as, or more so than, their A-sides. ''Backtracks'' is a box set by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It was announced on 29 September 2009 and was released on 10 November 2009 (the Deluxe Edition was shipped out early, before the scheduled release date, due to overwhelming fan reaction and anticipation). This is a collection of the band's studio and live rarities together in one boxset. There are two editions; a Deluxe Edition and a Standard Edition. All tracks have been remastered to match the sound of the 2003 album remasters and many songs appear on CD for the first time. It is the band's second box set of rarities, following the '' Bonfire'' release in 1997. ''Live at Donington'' is the DVD recording of the Australian rock band AC/DC‘s show at Donington Park on 17 August 1991, directed by David Mallet; it was the band's third Monsters of Rock festival. The two-hour show was performed before 72,500 spectators and included real cannons, the Hells Bell, an inflatable Rosie and two inflatable Anguses: one to the right of the stage, and one in the back of the stage during ''Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be''. It was filmed in 35 mm Panavision and had 26 cameras that included one situated inside a helicopter. The DVD includes special features such as stereo and 5.1 surround sound, Iso-cam versions of certain songs for different band members, and audio commentary from Angus and Malcolm Young. The Razors Edge World Tour was a concert tour played by the hard rock band AC/DC, in support of their twelfth studio album '' The Razors Edge''. This tour had 5 legs around the world lasting 12 months starting on 2 November 1990 in Worcester, Massachusetts, finishing on 16 November 1991 in Auckland, New Zealand. Background It was the only tour to feature drummer Chris Slade until the Rock or Bust World Tour. Williams, who was struck with a kidney infection was filled in by Paul Greg on bass for several concerts on the first North American leg. During the tour, the hugely successful '' Live at Donington'' show was performed. A video of the show has been released on VHS, then on DVD and Blu-ray. "Play Ball" is a single by the Australian hard rock band AC/DC, and the first single from their 2014 album '' Rock or Bust''. It was first used on 27 September 2014 in a trailer for Major League Baseball on TBS post-season coverage, and the single was released on 7 October. AC/DC's drummer, Phil Rudd, was absent from the video shoot for the single, and was replaced by the Welshman Bob Richards, who had previously played with Man, Adrian Smith, Asia and Shogun. The Minnesota Twins play the song at home in Target Field directly after the game's line-up is announced. It plays for about two minutes before the game starts. "Money Made" is the fourth single from Australian rock band AC/DC from their fifteenth studio album ''Black Ice''. The song was released only through radio airplay in Australia in July 2009, and in the UK as a CD along with "War Machine". Angus Young declared that his inspiration for the song was the obsession with money in the United States – "The focus seems to be, 'How do we get money out of this? Do we keep that school? ''Live at River Plate'' is a live concert film documenting AC/DC’s Black Ice World Tour. The DVD includes footage from three concerts performed in December 2009 at the Estadio Antonio Vespucio Liberti in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which is the home stadium of Argentine football club River Plate. It was directed by David Mallet, with Rocky Oldham as producer. The recording of the concerts required the use of 32 HD cameras; a company called Serpent Productions was responsible for filming and then producing the footage of the concerts. It was also the band’s last live album to feature rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young, before his retirement from touring due to dementia five years later and his death in 2017.
