Election Commission Of Malaysia
The Election Commission of Malaysia ( ms, Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya Malaysia), abbreviated SPR or EC, is a commission set up for ensuring fair and equitable operations in undertaking the elections in Malaysia. Its establishment is mandated by executive order of the former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. The agency falls under the purview of the Prime Minister's Department. Khalid bin Abdul Samad ( Jawi: خالد بن عبدالصمد; born 14 August 1957) is a Malaysian politician who served as the Minister of Federal Territories in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad from July 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Shah Alam from March 2008 to November 2022. The 12th Malaysian Parliament is the last meeting of the legislative branch of the government of Malaysia, the Parliament, comprising the directly elected lower house, the ''Dewan Rakyat'', and the appointed upper house, the ''Dewan Negara''. It met for the first time at the Malaysian Houses of Parliament on 28 April 2008 and met for the last time on 29 November 2012. The King then dissolved the Parliament on 3 April 2013. Abdul Aziz Shamsuddin
Abdul Aziz bin Shamsuddin ( ms, عبدالعزيز بن شمس الدين, label= Jawi, script=arab, italic=unset; 10 June 1938 – 16 October 2020) was a Malaysian politician who served as Minister of Rural and Regional Development from 2004 to 2008. Career Since 1981, he had been Dr. Mahathir's political secretary. He was appointed a Senator by Mahathir Mohamad in 1999. He was one of the men named by former Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim, as part of an alleged conspiracy to oust him. He served as Minister of Rural and Regional Development from 27 March 2004 to 18 March 2008. Death Abdul Aziz Shamsuddin died on 16 October 2020 at 11.52 pm. He was 82 years old. Dato' Sri Mohd Zin bin Mohamed ( Jawi: محمد زين بن محمد; born 28 March 1953) was the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Sepang constituency in Selangor from 2004 to 2013. A member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) in Malaysia's ruling Barisan Nasional coalition, he was Malaysia's Minister for Works from March to April 2008. Early life Mohd Zin was born in Muar, Johore and obtained his Diploma of Civil Engineering from UiTM in 1977.
