Sean Reynolds (RAF Officer)
Air Marshal Sean Keith Paul Reynolds, is a senior Royal Auxiliary Air Force officer who serves as Air Officer for Northern Ireland. RAF career Reynolds was commissioned into the Royal Air Force on 8 June 1984. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for service during the Gulf War. He became station commander at RAF Odiham in September 2005. He went on to be Director of Finance and Military Capability (Air) in April 2009, Director of Strategy Management at the Ministry of Defence in March 2011 and Air Officer Commanding, No. 2 Group in January 2013. He was appointed Deputy Commander (Personnel) at RAF Air Command in May 2016. He became Air Officer Northern Ireland as a member of the Royal Air Force Reserve on 1 January 2019. The Royal Air Force (RAF) is the United Kingdom's air and space force. It was formed towards the end of the First World War on 1 April 1918, becoming the first independent air force in the world, by regrouping the Royal Flying Corps (RFC) and the Royal Naval Air Service (RNAS). Following the Allied victory over the Central Powers in 1918, the RAF emerged as the largest air force in the world at the time. Philip Osborn
Air Marshal Philip Colin Osborn, is a senior Royal Air Force officer who served as Chief of Defence Intelligence from 2015 to 2018. RAF career Osborn joined the Royal Air Force in 1982. After training as a Tornado navigator, he became commanding officer of No. 13 Squadron and then Station Commander at RAF Marham. The Most Honourable Order of the Bath is a British order of chivalry founded by George I on 18 May 1725. The name derives from the elaborate medieval ceremony for appointing a knight, which involved bathing (as a symbol of purification) as one of its elements. The knights so created were known as "Knights of the Bath". George I "erected the Knights of the Bath into a regular Military Order". Air Chief Marshal Sir Michael Wigston, (born 25 February 1968) is the senior officer in the Royal Air Force, serving as Chief of the Air Staff since 26 July 2019. He previously served as Assistant Chief of the Air Staff from 2017 to 2018, and Deputy Commander (Personnel) and Air Member for Personnel and Capability from 2018 to 2019. The Air Member for Personnel (AMP) is the senior Royal Air Force officer who is responsible for personnel matters and is a member of the Air Force Board. The AMP is in charge of all aspects of recruiting, non-operational flying and ground training, career management, welfare, terms, and conditions of service, and resettlement for RAF regular, reserve, and civilian staffs worldwide. In 1918 on the establishment of the post it was titled the Master-General of Personnel, while from 1919 to 1923 the post was designated as the Director of Personnel. Thereafter it has been known by its current title, the Air Member for Personnel.
