The eighteenth season of '' Saturday Night Live'', an American sketch comedy series, originally aired in the United States on NBC between September 26, 1992, and May 15, 1993. Cast Many changes happened before the start of the season. Long-term cast member Victoria Jackson left the show after six seasons. Newer cast members Beth Cahill and Siobhan Fallon were both fired. Lorne Michaels did not hire any new cast members. Rob Schneider was upgraded to repertory status. Ellen Cleghorne, Tim Meadows, Adam Sandler and David Spade remained in the middle category. Melanie Hutsell was promoted to the middle category and Robert Smigel stayed a featured player. Long-term cast member Dana Carvey would leave mid-season. This would also be the final season for cast members Chris Rock and Robert Smigel. The seventeenth season of ''Saturday Night Live'', an American sketch comedy series, originally aired in the United States on NBC between September 28, 1991, and May 16, 1992. Cast A. Whitney Brown, Jan Hooks and longtime Weekend Update anchor Dennis Miller all left the show. Kevin Nealon was promoted to Weekend Update anchor. New cast members included Ellen Cleghorne, Siobhan Fallon and writer Robert Smigel. Beth Cahill and Melanie Hutsell also later joined the cast. Chris Farley, Chris Rock and Julia Sweeney were upgraded to repertory status, while Tim Meadows remained in the middle group. Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider and David Spade were promoted to the middle group. This was the final season for Victoria Jackson (at the time, she became the longest serving female cast member, with a total of six seasons on the show. ''Late Night with Conan O'Brien'' is an American late-night talk show hosted by Conan O'Brien. NBC aired 2,725 episodes from September 13, 1993, to February 20, 2009. The show featured varied comedic material, celebrity interviews, and musical and comedy performances. "Humpin' Around" is a song by American singer Bobby Brown. It is rumored that the song was originally titled "Fuckin' Around", with the name later changed to make it more radio friendly, and to avoid potential censorship. The song contains an interpolation of "Dancing Days" by Led Zeppelin. "Humpin' Around" spent two weeks at number one on the US ''Billboard'' Hot R&B Singles chart and reached number three on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Worldwide, the single reached number one in Australia, number two in New Zealand, number five in Spain and Sweden, and the top 10 in at least seven other countries. In 1995, British electronic music group K-Klass remixed the song and released it following the success of their remix of Brown's " Two Can Play That Game". Philip Edward Hartman (; September 24, 1948 – May 28, 1998) was a Canadian-American actor, comedian, screenwriter and graphic designer. Hartman was born in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, and his family moved to the United States when he was ten years old.
