Ascot Racecourse, Sydney
Ascot Racecourse was a former racecourse in the southern Sydney suburb of Mascot, close to the Mascot Aerodrome. It was named after Royal Ascot Racecourse in the United Kingdom. The site is now part of Sydney Airport. It operated from 1904 to 1941, and was one of four racecourses in Sydney where unregistered proprietary horse racing took place. Randwick is a suburb in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Nigel Love
Wing Commander Nigel Borland Love (16 January 1892 – 2 October 1979) was an Australian aviator and flour miller. Love was born at South Kurrajong to businessman John Love and Rebecca, ''née'' Charley. He attended Sydney Boys' High School before working in his father's importing business, Plummer Love & Co. He visited Britain 1912–13. In 1915 he enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force and was sent to the government flying school at Richmond. He was commissioned on 11 January 1917 and sent for further training in Britain. In January 1918 he was promoted lieutenant, and served in France with the Australian Flying Corps until June, when he was returned to England as an instructor. Anderson Park, Neutral Bay
Anderson Park is an urban recreation park located in the Sydney suburb of , New South Wales, Australia. The park is located on the shore of the bay in Sydney Harbour from which the suburb is named. Anderson Park is built on land reclaimed from the bay in the 1890s, and was dedicated on 8 October 1899. It was originally called Warringa Park, but was renamed in 1926 in honor of William Anderson who was the Mayor of the local municipality of North Sydney from 1914 to 1918. A floodlit sports field is available for cricket; various codes of football; volleyball; and other activities.
