''Super Mario World'' is an Animated series, animated television series based on the video game Super Mario World, of the same name by Nintendo. It is the third series based on the ''Mario (franchise), Mario'' video game series. Thirteen episodes of the show were aired as part of a block with ''Captain N: The Game Master'', called ''Captain N and the New Super Mario World'', on NBC (although the commercial eyecatch segments referred to the show as ''Captain N and Super Mario Bros. Mark Mothersbaugh
Mark Allen Mothersbaugh (; born May 18, 1950) is an American musician and composer. He came to prominence in the late 1970s as co-founder, lead vocalist and keyboardist of the new wave band Devo, whose " Whip It" was a top 20 single in the US in 1980, peaking at No. 14, and which has since maintained a cult following. Mothersbaugh was one of the primary composers of Devo's music.
