Studio Uno (TV Series)
''Studio Uno'' ("Studio One") was an Italian Saturday night variety show, broadcast on Rai 1 (at the time Programma Nazionale) between 1961 and 1966. Created and directed by Antonello Falqui, it was conceived by Falqui during a trip to the United States he made with the then RAI president Sergio Pugliese, and was inspired by Broadway theatre and by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers' musical films. Rai 1 () is an Italian free-to-air television channel owned and operated by state-owned public broadcaster RAI – Radiotelevisione italiana. Dino Verde
Dino Verde (13 July 1922 – 1 February 2004) was an Italian author, lyricist, playwright and screenwriter. Life and career Born Edoardo Verde in Naples, in 1943 he started working in the satirical magazine '' Marc'Aurelio''. Since the late 1940s Verde wrote revues and comedy plays for the most popular comedians of the time, including Macario, Nino Taranto, Aldo Fabrizi, Mario Riva and Riccardo Billi, Carlo Dapporto. In 1949 he started collaborating with EIAR, where he specialized in writing sketches and parody songs. Active on television since 1955, he was author of some of the most popular RAI variety shows, such as '' Canzonissima'', ''Doppia coppia'' and '' Studio Uno''. Lelio Luttazzi
Lelio Luttazzi (27 April 1923 – 8 July 2010) was an Italian composer, musician, actor, singer, conductor, writer, and television and radio presenter. Born in Trieste, Luttazzi began playing the piano at Radio Trieste and composing his first songs when he was student in law at the University of Trieste during the Second World War. After the war, he had from SIAE a gain of 350,000 lire, a considerable sum for the time, so he decided to become a full-time composer and in 1948 he moved to Milan where he began working with fellow Teddy Reno at the record company CGD. He was among the first composers to place jazz structures in the Italian songs. A multifaceted artist, he worked in revues and cinema as actor and composer of soundtracks. Castellano & Pipolo is the stage name used by the pair of Italian screenwriters and film directors Franco Castellano (1925–1999) and Giuseppe Moccia (1933–2006). Together, they wrote the screenplays for about seventy films, and directed twenty films, mainly comedies. Dany Saval (born Danielle Nadine Suzanne Savalle; 5 January 1942) is a French former actress. Her career flourished during the 1950s and 1960s. Emilio Pericoli
Emilio Pericoli (7 January 1928 – 9 April 2013) was an Italian singer. He was born in Cesenatico, Romagna, Italy. Pericoli's success was closely tied to the Sanremo Festival. He recorded a cover version of the song, " Al di là", by festival winner Betty Curtis. The song was an international success, hitting the charts in the U.S. (No. 3 AC, No. 6 Pop) and No. 30 in UK. It sold over one million copies, and was awarded a gold disc. In 1962, Pericoli entered the festival himself.
