Søren Ulrik Thomsen (born 8 May 1956) is a Danish poet. His debut was ''City Slang'', 1981. Life Søren Ulrik Thomsen was born in 1956 in Kalundborg. He grew up in Store Heddinge, Stevns, south of Copenhagen, where he went to school together with another Danish poet, Jens Fink-Jensen from 1968 to 1972. During his childhood he often heard readings of literature and sang evening songs. This early exposure to the rhythm and poetry of language influenced his later writing. In school he became familiar with the songs of B.S.Ingemann, a poet who has had significant influence on Thomsen's poetry. He moved with his family to Copenhagen at sixteen and enrolled in secondary school at Rysensteen and, after being expelled, at Det Frie Gymnasium, where he completed his upper secondary education, making him eligible for university studies. Boldklubben Frem
Boldklubben Frem (also known as Frem, BK Frem or BK Frem Copenhagen) is a Danish sports club based in the Valby- Sydhavnen area of Copenhagen. It is best known for its semi-professional football team and its youth academy. Since its foundation in 1886, Frem has won the Danish Championships six times and the Danish Cup twice. Until the disastrous bankruptcy in 1993, Frem had played in the top division all but six seasons. After the bankruptcy the club fought its way back to the top of Danish football, but in 2010 it went bankrupt again and was demoted to the Copenhagen Series—the fifth tier in the Danish league system. Carl Otto Reventlow
Carl Otto Reventlow (actually ''Karl arlChristian Otto''; 10 December 1817 in Store Heddinge 19 April 1873) became notable as the developer of a mnemonic system. He took the ''nom de plume'' Reventlow to distinguish himself from journalists with the same family name. There is, despite a personal acquaintance to some members to the Reventlow family of old Holstein-Mecklenburg nobility through his studies at University of Kiel, no family relation. Biography Otto took up studies in philology at the University of Copenhagen and the University of Kiel. There he became a member of the student fraternity Corps Saxonia and made contact to political circles and started first publications. Later he focused on the art of memory enhancement. Jutta Bojsen-Møller
Jutta Bojsen-Møller born Bojsen (1837–1927) was a Danish high school proponent, a women's rights activist and a member of the Danish Women's Society which she headed from 1894 to 1910. Biography Born in Store Heddinge on the Danish island of Zealand, Jutta Kunigunde Bojsen was the daughter of Frederik Engelhardt Boisen (1808–1882), a parish priest, and the writer Eline Birgitte Heramb (1813–1871). In 1857, she married the parish priest Otto Ditlev Møller (1814–1892) with whom she had eight children. One of a family of 11, she was brought up in Skørpinge near Slagelse where her father was appointed as parish priest shortly after her birth. Together with her siblings, she was educated at home by private tutors with an emphasis on Grundtvigian principles. Rail Transport In Denmark
The rail transport system in Denmark consists of of railway lines, of which the Copenhagen S-train network, the main line Helsingør-Copenhagen-Padborg (at the Denmark–Germany border, German border), and the Lunderskov-Esbjerg line are railway electrification, electrified.
