Stefan Van Dam
Stefan van Dam (born 3 March 1983) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Van Dam played in the youth of VV Sliedrecht, until moving to Willem II. He played his first professional game for Willem II in the Eredivisie in De Kuip. After two first team caps his contract was not renewed. In summer 2004, Van Dam moved to TOP Oss. Here he experienced a good start with three goals in his first two games. After playing seven games his contract was not renewed. Next he played in the first team of ASWH. Sliedrecht () is a town and municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. The municipality covers an area of of which is covered by water. Sliedrecht is known for the many large dredging companies (including Boskalis and IHC Merwede) that come from it. The Dredging Festival takes place in Sliedrecht every two years. ASWH, short for Altijd Sterker Worden Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, is an association football club from Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Netherlands. The club was founded in 1929. Stadion Feijenoord (), more commonly known by its nickname De Kuip (, the Tub), is a stadium in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It was completed in 1937. The name is derived from the Feijenoord district in Rotterdam, and from the club with the same name (although the club's name was internationalised to Feyenoord in 1973). The stadium's original capacity was 64,000. In 1949, it was expanded to 69,000, and in 1994 it was converted to a 51,117-seat all-seater. In 1999, a significant amount of restoration and interior work took place at the stadium prior to its use as a venue in the UEFA Euro 2000 tournament, although capacity was largely unaffected.
