Stand (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. It was originally serialized in Shueisha's manga magazine ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'' from 1987 to 2004, and was transferred to the monthly manga magazine ''Ultra Jump'' in 2005. The series is divided into a total of nine main story arcs, each following a new protagonist bearing the "JoJo" nickname. ''JoJo's Bizarre Adventure'' is the largest ongoing manga series published by Shueisha by number of volumes, with its chapters collected in 136 volumes as of December 2024. From 1993 to 2002, A.P.P.P. produced a 13-episode original video animation (OVA) adapting the manga's third part, ''Stardust Crusaders''. Phantom Blood
is a 1987 manga series created by Hirohiko Araki, and the first main story arc of the larger ''JoJo's Bizarre Adventure'' series. The manga was originally serialized by Shueisha in ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'' under the title and was collected in five volumes; a three-volume collection was released by Shueisha in Japan in 2002, and by Viz Media in North America in 2014. The arc was serialized for more than 10 months; from January 1, 1987, to October 26 of that same year. It was followed by ''Battle Tendency''. The story is set in England in the middle-to-late 1880s, and follows Jonathan Joestar, the heir of the wealthy Joestar family, and his adoptive brother Dio Brando, who wishes to take the Joestar fortune for himself. Using an ancient stone mask, Dio transforms himself into a vampire, and Jonathan learns the sunlight-based martial arts technique of Hamon to fight him. Golden Wind (manga)
, also known as ''Vento Aureo'', is the fifth main story arc of the Japanese manga series ''JoJo's Bizarre Adventure'', written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. It was serialized in Shueisha's ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'' from December 11, 1995, to April 5, 1999. In its original publication, it was referred to as . Within ''Golden Wind'', the ''JoJo's Bizarre Adventure'' title is rendered in Italian, as ''Le Bizzarre Avventure di GioGio''. Taking place in Italy in the year 2001, the story follows Giorno Giovanna, an illegitimate son of the long-deceased Dio Brando, who aspires to overthrow the boss of the corrupt mafia ruling his hometown of Naples with the aid of a team of fellow Stand users. As it is the fifth part of the series, its 155 chapters pick up where the fourth left off and are numbered 440 to 594, with the volumes numbered 47 to 63. ''Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe'', known in Japan as , is a series of manga one-shots created by Hirohiko Araki. It is a spin-off from '' Diamond Is Unbreakable'', the fourth part of Araki's ''JoJo's Bizarre Adventure'' series, and features the character Rohan Kishibe, a manga artist who travels around the world to get inspiration from people's lives. The English title of the series is a reference to the book ''Thus Spoke Zarathustra'' by Friedrich Nietzsche. The series is published by Shueisha, starting with the one-shot "Episode 16: At a Confessional" in 1997 in their ''Weekly Shōnen Jump''; new episodes have since appeared in their ''Jump Square'', ''Shōnen Jump+'', ''Bessatsu Margaret'', ''JoJo Magazine'', and ''Ultra Jump'' magazines. Diamond is a solid form of the element carbon with its atoms arranged in a crystal structure called diamond cubic. Diamond is tasteless, odourless, strong, brittle solid, colourless in pure form, a poor conductor of electricity, and insoluble in water. Another solid form of carbon known as graphite is the chemically stable form of carbon at room temperature and pressure, but diamond is metastable and converts to it at a negligible rate under those conditions.
