SpongeBob SquarePants Season 8
The eighth season of the American animated television series ''SpongeBob SquarePants'', created by former marine biologist and animator Stephen Hillenburg, originally aired on Nickelodeon in the United States from March 26, 2011, to November 23, 2012, and contained 26 half-hour episodes, with a miniseries titled SpongeBob's Runaway Roadtrip. The series chronicles the exploits and adventures of the title character and his various friends in the fictional underwater city of Bikini Bottom. The season was executive produced by series creator Hillenburg and writer Paul Tibbitt, who also acted as the showrunner. In 2011, '' SpongeBob's Runaway Roadtrip'', an anthology series consisting of five episodes from the season, was launched. The show itself received several recognitions, including the 2011 and 2012 Kids' Choice Awards for Favorite Cartoon. Paul Tibbitt
Paul Harrison Tibbitt IV (born May 13, 1968) is an American animator, writer, and voice actor, best known for his work on the animated series ''SpongeBob SquarePants''. After its creator Stephen Hillenburg resigned in 2004, Tibbitt took his position of showrunner for the show's remaining seasons. He also took over as the voice of Potty the Parrot, whom Hillenburg had voiced until his resignation. "It's a SpongeBob Christmas!" is the 23rd episode of the SpongeBob SquarePants (season 8), eighth season, and the 175th episode overall of the American animated television program, television series ''SpongeBob SquarePants''. It originally aired on CBS in the United States on November 23, 2012, and on Nickelodeon on December 6. In the special, Plankton (character), Plankton tries to convince SpongeBob SquarePants (character), SpongeBob to transform everybody in Bikini Bottom into jerks by feeding them his special jerktonium-laced fruitcakes in order to get his Christmas wishthe Krabby Patty secret formula. Squidward Quincy Tentacles (, ) is a fictional character in Nickelodeon's animated television series ''SpongeBob SquarePants.'' Until 1993, the award was just known as the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program.
