Palaniswamy Gounder (born 27 October 1941), better known by his stage name Sivakumar, is an Indian visual artist and former actor who has appeared in Tamil cinema and television. He made his acting debut in '' Kaakum Karangal'' (1965) and has worked in 195 movies, predominantly in Tamil cinema. He has won three Filmfare Awards South and two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. ''Rosappu Ravikkaikari'' () is a 1979 Indian Tamil language, Tamil-language historical romance film directed by Devaraj–Mohan. A remake of the 1978 Kannada film ''Parasangada Gendethimma'', itself based on Srikrishna Alanahalli's novella of the same name, the film stars Sivakumar, Unni Mary, Deepa and Sivachandran, with Vinu Chakravarthy and R. Nagarathnamma in supporting roles. Karthik Sivakumar (born 25 May 1977), credited as Karthi, is an Indian actor who works in Tamil Cinema. He is son of veteran actor Sivakumar who began his career as an assistant director in his elder brother Suriya's film '' Aayutha Ezhuthu'' (2004). Brindha Sivakumar
Brindha Sivakumar (born 3 March 1980) is an Indian playback singer and voice artist who works in Tamil-language films. She is the daughter of actor Sivakumar and the younger sister of actors Suriya and Karthi. Career While Brindha was studying grade 10, Karthik Raja called her for a recording, but Brindha declined the offer since her board exams were near. She was initially offered Simran's role in ''Kannathil Muthamittal'' (2002) by assistant director Sudha Kongara but declined the role. She made her debut as a playback singer with ''Mr. Chandramouli'' (2018). Brindha sang the title track for the film. ''Vandichakkaram'' () is a 1980 Indian Tamil-language film directed by K. Vijayan and written by Vinu Chakravarthy. The film stars Sivakumar and Saritha. It revolves around a ruffian who, after falling in love, resolves to mend his ways. Chakravarthy wrote the script in 1976, but production began only in 1979. It was supposed to be the 100th film of Sivakumar but eventually became his 101st to accommodate ''Rosappu Ravikkaikari'' (1979). The film was produced by Thirupur Mani, and shot at Mysore.
