''Side Effects'' is a 2005 romantic comedy about the pharmaceutical industry, directed by Kathleen Slattery-Moschkau and starring Katherine Heigl as Karly Hert, a pharmaceutical " detailer", who becomes disillusioned with the lack of ethics in the pharmaceutical industry and has tough choices to make. Kathleen Slattery-Moschkau (pronounced like "Moscow") is an American sustainable real estate developer, meditation teacher, and podcast host. The podcast (originally called The Kathleen Show) launched in 2006 featured renowned guests such as Maya Angelou, Michael Pollan and Sir Ken Robinson.
