Shi Wei (born 3 February 1970) is a Chinese handball player. She competed in the women's tournament at the 1996 Summer Olympics. Wei Shyy
Wei Shyy () is an aerospace engineer who served as the 4th president of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) from September 2018 to October 2022. He is currently a professor emeritus of mechanical and aerospace engineering at HKUST. Born in Hsinchu in 1955, Shyy completed his undergraduate studies at National Tsing Hua University in 1977. He then attended the University of Michigan and graduated in 1982 with a Master of Science in Engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy, both in aerospace engineering. Shyy served as chair of the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan College of Engineering from 2005 to 2010. He joined HKUST in August 2010 to serve as the university provost. He served as the acting president of HKUST from February to August 2018, before he was officially appointed as the president of the university in September 2018. Chen Xuezhao
Chen Xuezhao (; April 17, 1906 – 1991) was a Chinese writer and journalist. She was earlier known as Chen Shuzhang or Chen Shuying. She used the pen names Ye Qu, Shi Wei, Xue Zhao and Hui. She was one of the most prolific Chinese women writers of the 20th century. Chen gave her support to Mao Zedong's policy on Art and Literature. Life The daughter of parents from Henan province, Chen was born in Haining in Zhejiang province in 1906. She was educated at the first Girls' Normal School in China in Nantong County. This school was founded in 1902 by Zhang Jian. Afterwards, she attended Shanghai Patriotic Girls' College. She joined the Qiancao Literary Society and published her first work ''Wo suo qiwang de xin funü'' ("The New Women of My Ideal") in 1923.
