Shahenshah (1988 Film)
''Shahenshah'' () is a 1988 Indian Hindi-language vigilante, crime action drama film produced and directed by Tinnu Anand with story by Jaya Bachchan and script by Inder Raj Anand (who died before the film was released). The film stars Amitabh Bachchan in the title role, alongside Meenakshi Sheshadri, Praan, Amrish Puri, Prem Chopra and Sharat Saxena and Murad in supporting roles. The film marks Bachchan's comeback to films after a three-year hiatus during which he had entered politics. Bachchan still had films releasing during the hiatus as they were projects, which he had previously completed. ''Shahenshah'' became the second highest-grossing Indian film of 1988 despite strong competition from ''Tezaab'' and ''Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak''. Tinnu Anand
Tinu Anand (born Virender Raj Anand) is an Indian actor, director, writer and producer in Hindi cinema and a few Telugu and Tamil films. Personal life He is the son of veteran writer Inder Raj Anand, brother of producer Bittu Anand and uncle of director Siddharth Anand. He did his schooling from Mayo College in India. He is married to Shahnaz, daughter of veteran actor Agha. Vijayendra Ghatge (born 1945) is an Indian actor in Bollywood film and television. He is known for his role of Lala Vrishbhaan in the TV serial '' Buniyaad'' that originally aired on DD National in 1986.
