Scott John Morrison (; born 13 May 1968) is an Australian politician. He served as the 30th prime minister of Australia and as Leader of the Liberal Party of Australia from 2018 to 2022, and is currently the member of parliament (MP) for the New South Wales seat of Cook, a position he has held since 2007. Morrison was born in Sydney and studied economic geography at the University of New South Wales. He worked as director of the New Zealand Office of Tourism and Sport from 1998 to 2000 and was managing director of Tourism Australia from 2004 to 2006. Morrison also served as state director of the New South Wales Liberal Party from 2000 to 2004. He was first elected to the Australian House of Representatives at the 2007 election as a member of parliament (MP) for the division of Cook in New South Wales, and was quickly appointed to the shadow cabinet. Scott Alexander Morrison (born 23 May 1984) is a Scottish former professional footballer, who played for Aberdeen, Dunfermline Athletic, Ross County, Phoenix FC and Arizona United. He also represented Scotland at under-21 international level. He formerly served as the head coach for San Diego 1904 FC in the National Independent Soccer Association. Scott Morrison (born 1978) is a Canadian basketball coach who is currently the head coach of the Salt Lake City Stars of the NBA G League. Early life Morrison was born and raised in Morell, Prince Edward Island, and attended Morell Regional High School. Growing up, his father George was the head coach of the UPEI Panthers men's basketball program. College career From 1995 to 2000, Morrison attended the University of Prince Edward Island and played for the Panthers in the Canadian Inter-University Sport (CIS). He graduated as the school's all-time leader in assists and 3-point field goals made and fifth on the all-time leading scorer list. Scott Morrison (born October 7, 1958) is a Canadian sports journalist for Sportsnet. He worked for the ''Toronto Sun'' throughout the 1980s and 1990s until he joined Rogers Sportsnet in 2001 as managing editor of Hockey. He was let go from Sportsnet in July 2006. He authored numerous hockey books, including ''Hockey Night in Canada: By the Numbers'', "Mats Sundin: Center of Attention" and ''Hockey Night in Canada: My Greatest Day''. Scott Jeffrey Morrison (born 19 November 1970), also known as Te Manahau Morrison, is a Māori language academic, writer and broadcaster in New Zealand. He is known for presenting two Māori current affairs programmes on television: ''Te Karere'' and ''Marae.'' He is author of award-winning Māori language guide ''Māori Made Easy''. Scotty Morrison
Ian "Scotty" Morrison (born April 22, 1930) is a Canadian former National Hockey League referee and vice-president, and the former president and chairman of the Hockey Hall of Fame. Morrison played junior hockey in Quebec and then became a referee, working in junior and senior amateur leagues. He moved to Vancouver to work in the Western Hockey League, and from there was hired by the NHL at the age of 24, at that time the youngest referee in league history. Morrison left the NHL in 1955 and became referee-in-chief of the Western Hockey League, while also working games as a referee. He also worked in sales, and in that job was transferred to Toronto in 1964. In June 1965, Morrison returned to the NHL as referee-in-chief. His title became vice-president of officiating in 1981.
