Andrew Samuels (born 19 January 1949) is a British psychotherapist and writer on political and social themes from a psychological viewpoint. Robert George Samuels (born 13 March 1971, in Kingston, Jamaica) is a former West Indian cricketer who played in six Tests and eight ODIs from 1996 to 1997. Career An opening batsman, Samuels scored 125 in his second Test against New Zealand in 1996. On the tour of Australia later that year, he managed 231 runs at an average of 33 across four Tests. In the final Test at Perth, he contributed 76 in a match-winning 208 run partnership with Brian Lara (132). Despite an unbeaten 35 in the second innings, it would be his final Test for the West Indies. The high point of his brief ODI career was an unbeaten 36 off 24 balls which helped West Indies to a four wicket win over Australia in Perth. Marlon Nathaniel Samuels (born 5 February 1981) is a former Jamaican cricketer who played internationally for the West Indies in all three formats, and a former ODI captain. He is a right-handed middle order batsman and an off-spinner. Lynn Margaret Samuels (September 2, 1942 – December 24, 2011) was an iconic Leftist American Radio Personality and Blogger, based in New York City. She was one of the first women to host a political radio show. Career She began her radio career at WBAI in 1979, where in addition to her on-air work, she was music director and an engineer and producer. Walter Sabo, in a tribute on the Alex Bennett program (hosted by Richard Bey) on December 27, 2011, stated that Lynn first worked for WOR on Saturdays from 4–6 p.m. "for quite some time".
