Maria Tescanu Rosetti
Maria Tescanu Rosetti (1879–1968), was a Romanian aristocrat and royal court official. Life Born in Berești-Tazlău, Bacău County, she was a descendant of some illustrious Moldavian boyar families. Her father Dumitru was descended from the Rosetti family, and from her mother, Alice Rosetti-Tescanus, from the Negri-Jora, and both were well-known intellectuals. Dumitru was a philosopher, sociologist, publicist, translator of Vasile Conta's work into French, and her mother, known to have collected "one of the most valuable libraries of the time" was a pianist connoisseur of universal music and literature. She spent her childhood and adolescence in Tescani and was schooled at home by governesses, who helped Maria acquire "a vast culture through reading, correspondence and travel." PAO Rosseti is a Russian power company, comprises interregional and regional distribution grid companies (IDGCs/RDGCs), research and development institutes, design and construction institutes, and construction and sales entities. Roberto Rosetti (born 18 September 1967) is an Italian former football referee. He is fluent in Italian (native), English and French. He started refereeing in 1983, and took charge of his first match in the Italian Serie A in 1996. He received his FIFA Badge in 2002. Aside from his refereeing duties, Rosetti works as director of a hospital. Rosetti is counted amongst the top referees of all time in a list maintained by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS). He retired following the 2010 FIFA World Cup to take a position with the Italian Football Federation as the referee designator for Serie B League. Luciano Moggi, then general director of Juventus, had described Rosetti and his colleague Pierluigi Collina as being too 'objective' in an intercepted telephone call. Nicolae Rosetti-Bălănescu
Nicolae Rosetti-Bălănescu (6 December 1827 – 11 May 1884) was a lawyer and Romanian politician who served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Principality of Romania from 29 August 1863 until 29 October 1865. Rosetti-Bălănescu was born in Iași, Moldavia. He came from a larger aristocratic Rosetti family, which to distinguish themselves split into four smaller families: Rosetti-Solescu, Rosetti-Roznovanu, Rosetti-Tescanu and Rosetti-Bălănescu. He studied in Paris at Lycée Henri-IV and then at the Paris Law Faculty, after which he returned to Romania. His wife, Olga, divorced him and then married another diplomat, Petre Mavrogheni. Towards the end of his life he went back to Paris, where he died. He is buried at Montparnasse Cemetery in Paris.
