Rosenfeld is a town in the Zollernalbkreis district of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. History Rosenfeld became a possession of the County, later Duchy, of Württemberg, which made the town the seat of . In 1808, that district was dissolved and Rosenfeld was assigned to . That district, too, was dissolved in 1938 and Rosenfeld was reassigned to of Balingen. Rosenfeld underwent a period of growth after World War II, beginning in the 1950s with new housing to the east of the town, and continuing into the 1980s with more residential, commercial, and industrial areas. Bobbie Rosenfeld Award
The Bobbie Rosenfeld Award is an annual award given to Canada's female athlete of the year. The sports writers of the Canadian Press (CP) first conducted a poll to determine the nation's top female in 1932, naming track star Hilda Strike the winner. The CP formalized the poll into an award in 1978, presenting their winner a plaque. It was named after Bobbie Rosenfeld, an all-around athlete and Olympic track and field champion whom the news organization had named its top athlete of the half-century in 1950. The award is separate from the Northern Star Award, in which a select panel of sports writers vote for their top overall athlete. The poll was suspended for four years during the Second World War after the CP decided it could not name a sporting "hero" at a time when Canadian soldiers were fighting in Europe. Jim Rosenfield is an American local television news anchor currently working for WCAU-TV, the NBC-owned television station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Career Rosenfield started his television news career in 1981, after graduating from Duke University. He started out at WTVD-TV in Durham, North Carolina, where he was a general assignment reporter. He moved to Houston, KTRK-TV, as a reporter and eventually anchor. He later moved to Chicago, where he became a reporter and weekend anchor at WLS-TV. Jakob Rosenfeld (January 11, 1903 – April 22, 1952), known in China as General Luo or Luo Shengte, was a Holocaust survivor and urologist who fled to Shanghai, China due to the repression he faced in Austria, which had been annexed by Nazi Germany. While in China, he served all around the country as a surgeon and Minister of Health in the Provisional Communist Military Government of China under Mao Zedong during the Japanese invasion of China and the Chinese Civil War. Eva Marie Rosenfeld (5 January 1892 – 17 August 1977) was a Jewish- German-British psychoanalyst, an analysand of Sigmund Freud and Melanie Klein. Although born in New York City, Eva Rosenfeld spent her youth in Berlin where her father Theodor Rosenfeld was a theater producer, one of the members of the Freie Bühne theatre. When Eva was 15 years old, her father died and she left school to begin her career as a social worker. In 1911 she married her cousin, the lawyer Valentin Rosenfeld (1886–1970). Valentin studied in Vienna and attended the lectures held by Freud. Through her husband, Eva first became aware of psychoanalysis. When they married, they settled in Vienna.
