Rosana Dos Santos Augusto
Rosana dos Santos Augusto (born 7 July 1982), commonly known as Rosana, is a Brazilian football coach and former left back or left winger who last played for Palmeiras. She played professionally for teams in Brazil, Austria, France, Norway and the United States. Since making her debut for the Brazil women's national football team in June 2000, she won over a century of caps. She has participated in four FIFA Women's World Cups and four editions of the Olympic Games. Club career Rosana played for several years in Brazil before moving to Austria in 2004. There she played as a left winger for SV Neulengbach. In 2005–06 she was the ÖFB-Frauenliga's top goal scorer, with 26 goals. At the 2008 WPS International Draft Rosana was selected by Sky Blue FC of Women's Professional Soccer (WPS). In her first season she scored five goals from a central playmaking role. North Carolina Courage
The North Carolina Courage is a professional women's soccer team based in Cary, North Carolina. It was founded on January 9, 2017, after Stephen Malik acquired National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) franchise rights from the Western New York Flash. The Courage is affiliated with the men's team North Carolina FC of the United Soccer League and plays its home games at the Sahlen’s Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park. In 2018, the Courage became the first team in NWSL history to win the Shield and the Championship in the same season. Football at the 2011 Pan American Games was held in Guadalajara, Mexico from October 18 to October 28. Associations affiliated with FIFA were invited to send their full women's national teams and men's U-22 teams to participate. In addition teams are allowed to enter a maximum of eighteen athletes. The 2011 Pan American Games, officially the XVI Pan American Games, was an international multi-sport event that was held from October 14–30, 2011, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Some events were held in the nearby cities of Ciudad Guzmán, Puerto Vallarta, Lagos de Moreno and Tapalpa. The 2007 Pan American Games, officially known as the XV Pan American Games, were a major continental multi-sport event that took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from July 13 to 29, 2007. A total of 5,633 athletes from 42 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) competed in 332 events in 34 sports and in 47 disciplines. During the Games, 95 new Pan American records were set; 2,196 medals were awarded; 1,262 doping control tests were performed and about 15,000 volunteers participated in the organization of the event, which was an Olympic qualification for 13 International Federations (IFs). Football (soccer) at the Pan American Games has been included in every Pan American Games as a men's competition sport, since the first edition of the multi-sports event in 1951. The competition is organized by the Pan American Sports Organization. So as to avoid competition with the World Cup, FIFA have restricted participation of elite players in the men's tournament in various ways. Currently squads for the men's tournament are required to be composed of players under 22 years of age. The tournament was played in league format from 1951 to 1963, neither final nor bronze medal match hosted. Another format was used in 1971, this time the tournament was played in group format in early stages, but played in league format for final stages.
