Rodrigo González De Lara
Rodrigo González de Lara (''floruit'' 1078–1143) was a Kingdom of Castile, Castilian nobleman of the House of Lara. Early in his career he ruled that half of Asturias allocated to Castile. He was faithful to the crown throughout the reign of Urraca of León and Castile, Queen Urraca (1109–26), during which time he was married to the queen's half-sister and ruled a large part of the old County of Castile. He and his elder brother, Pedro González de Lara, Pedro González, led the opposition to Alfonso VII early in his reign (1126–57). He led a revolt in 1130 and was exiled in 1137. He was a leader in the ''Reconquista''—about which the contemporary ''Chronica Adefonsi imperatoris'' has much to say—and also took part in the Military history of the Crusader states, military activities of the Crusader states on two occasions. Rodrigo González Girón
Rodrigo González Girón (before 1194 – 1256), eldest son of Gonzalo Rodríguez Girón and his first wife, Sancha Rodríguez, was a nobleman from Palencia. After the death of his father in 1231, he was the head of the Girón family. Life Rodrigo took over many of the tenancies in the Tierra de Campos that his father have formerly governed, including Monzón, half of Carrión and Asturias de Santillana. He possessed extensive properties in Villarmentero de Campos, Revenga de Campos, Villalonga and Villovieco. In 1232, together with his brother Gonzalo, he reached an agreement with the abbess of the monastery of Santa María la Real de Las Huelgas concerning certain '' behetrías'' in these places. In 1252, he acquired various estates around Autillo de Campos that he afterwards donated to the Hospital de la Herrada, of which he was a noted patron. Rodrigo González, (25 December 1950 – 19 September 1985), better known as Rockdrigo or ''El profeta del nopal'' ("The Nopal Prophet"), was a Mexican singer-songwriter. He died at age 35 with his girlfriend, Francoise Bardinet, when the apartment building in which he was living collapsed in the Mexico City earthquake of 19 September 1985. His early death made him a legend in Mexican rock. Biography Rodrigo was born in Tampico, Tamaulipas. He studied psychology for a brief time at the Universidad Veracruzana in Xalapa before moving to Mexico City in 1977 with the desire to make music. He arrived to the capital and began playing in bars and cafés. At first, he survived by singing covers in the streets of the city "in the English style." Rodrigo "Rod" Andrés González Espíndola (born 19 May 1968) is a Chilean-born German musician known as the bassist and one of the singers of German rock band Die Ärzte. Early life González' parents were politically persecuted in Chile during the Pinochet dictatorship, and so were granted asylum in Hamburg. His family initially lived there on social benefits until his father found work. He completed his '' Abitur'' (school-leaving exams) at the Gymnasium Langenhorn. He has an older sister, Claudia, who also works as a musician (Universal González). As a teenager, González was a member of the band Die Erben. From 1986 to 1988, he played banjo in the Hamburg punk band Die Goldenen Zitronen, and from 1988 to 1989 he was the guitarist in the Rainbirds. Rodrigo Antonio González Catalán (born 30 November 1995) is a Chilean footballer who currently plays as a defender for Primera B side Magallanes. Career After staying in the Youth Teams of Palestino and Santiago Wanderers, he played for General Velásquez, Colchagua and Chimbarongo F.C. at the Tercera A, the fourth level of the Chilean football. Along with Colchagua, he won the 2014 Tercera A Championship. In the Summer 2016, he joined San Luis de Quillota in the Chilean Primera División, first playing at the under-19 level and making his professional debut in a match against Palestino on August 21, 2016.
