Rick Adair
Michael Richard Adair (born January 19, 1958) is a former pitching coach for the Baltimore Orioles and a former minor league baseball player. He was succeeded as pitching coach by Bill Castro. Playing career As a player, Adair played college baseball at Western Carolina University and was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the third round of the 1979 Major League Baseball Draft. Injuries ended his career seven years later, having peaked at the Triple-A level. Coaching career He has held various coaching jobs since the end of his playing career, mostly as a minor-league pitching coach, with the Cleveland Indians, San Diego Padres, Detroit Tigers, Atlanta Braves, and Toronto Blue Jays organizations. Jon Matlack
Jonathan Trumpbour Matlack (born January 19, 1950) is an American former professional baseball player and coach. He played in Major League Baseball as a left-handed pitcher from through for the New York Mets and the Texas Rangers. The three-time All-Star was named the National League Rookie of the Year and was a member of the National League pennant-winning New York Mets team. Matlack led the National League in shutouts in 1974 and 1975 and, ranks in the top 10 among Mets pitchers in wins, complete games, ERA, strikeouts, shutouts and innings pitched. Phil Regan (baseball)
Philip Ramond Regan (born April 6, 1937) is an American former professional baseball pitcher, scout, and manager, who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, and Chicago White Sox; he also managed the Baltimore Orioles. Regan served as the pitching coach for the New York Mets for part of the 2019 season. During the 1966 season, when Regan was Walter Alston's favorite pitcher from the Dodger bullpen, teammate Sandy Koufax nicknamed Regan "The Vulture", due to his knack for earning wins in late-inning relief situations. Mark Eugene Wiley (born February 28, 1948) is the former Director of Pitching Operations for the Colorado Rockies. Wiley only pitched in parts of two Major League Baseball seasons, however, he has remained in the game as a pitching coach and front office executive for over forty years. Minnesota Twins Wiley was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the second round of the 1970 Major League Baseball Draft. After four unspectacular seasons in the Twins' farm system, in which he went 49-44 with a 3.98 earned run average, Wiley had a breakthrough season with the Pacific Coast League's Tacoma Twins in . Art Fowler
John Arthur Fowler (July 3, 1922 – January 29, 2007) was an American pitcher and pitching coach in Major League Baseball. The , right-hander was signed by the New York Giants as an amateur free agent before the 1944 season. He played for the Cincinnati Redlegs (1954–57), Los Angeles Dodgers (1959), and Los Angeles Angels (1961–64), and went on to be associated with manager Billy Martin as a coach with five major league teams, including four stops with the New York Yankees. Career Fowler was born in Converse, South Carolina. His brother Jesse pitched for the St. Louis Cardinals. Mark Connor
Mark Peter Connor (born May 27, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York) is a former pitching coach for the Baltimore Orioles and Texas Rangers. Before his coaching career, he was a minor league pitcher from 1971 through 1972 who batted and threw right-handed. Playing career Connor played two minor league seasons for the Minnesota Twins before his career was ended by an arm injury. He went 4-5 with a 2.78 ERA, three saves, and 57 strikeouts in 55 innings for the 1971 Auburn Twins. The following season, he posted a 5-2 record with a 3.83 ERA in 32 relief appearances for the Wisconsin Rapids Twins.
