Real Colorado Foxes were an American soccer team based in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, United States. Founded in 2008, the team played in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Heartland Division of the Central Conference. The team played its home games at Shea Stadium from 2009-2015. The team's colors were red, black and white. History The Foxes joined the PDL in 2009, and played their first ever game on May 9, 2009, against Kansas City Brass. The Foxes won the game 3–2, with the first goal in franchise history being scored by Chris Salvaggione. In 2011, the team qualified for its first Lamar Hunt US Open Cup by winning the first 4 games of the regular season. The Foxes then advanced to the second round by knocking out USASA’s DV8 Defenders of Redwood City, California with a 5–0 convincing victory to fall short to Kitsap Pumas, another seasoned PDL side in Bremerton, Washington, by a score of 3–1. Tesho Akindele (born March 31, 1992) is a Canadian former professional soccer player. Club career Early career Tesho Akindele was born in Canada to a Nigerian father and a Canadian mother and moved with his family to the US at the age of eight. He grew up in Thornton, Colorado, and was a standout for Northglenn High School, turning down an offer to join the Colorado Rapids academy at the age of 17 to focus on academics. Akindele played four years of college soccer at the Colorado School of Mines, where he became the school's all-time goals leader with 76 goals scored and was a four-time All-American. He ranked second in the nation in goals scored in 2012 with 22 and was named a First Team NSCAA All-American and the 2012 RMAC Offensive Player of the Year for his efforts. Englewood, Colorado
The City of Englewood is a home rule municipality located in Arapahoe County, Colorado, United States. The town population was 33,659 at the 2020 United States Census. Lorne Donaldson
Lorne Donaldson is a Jamaican football manager and former player who coaches the Jamaica women's national team. Playing career Donaldson attended and played soccer at Kingston College in Jamaica. He also played for Cavalier F.C. in 1980, Donaldson entered Metropolitan State University of Denver. He was a 1981 NAIA First Team All American soccer player. In 1995, Metro State inducted Donaldson into its Hall of Fame. Donaldson also played for the Denver Kickers when they won the 1983 National Amateur Cup. Taylor Kemp
Taylor Eric Kemp (born July 23, 1990) is a former American soccer player. Career College and Amateur Kemp played college soccer at the University of Maryland between 2009 and 2012. Professional Kemp was drafted 17th overall by D.C. United in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft. Upon a trial with United, Kemp was offered a contract. Due to team depth and the unlikeliness of many first team minutes, Kemp was loaned to United's USL Pro-affiliated, Richmond Kickers of the third tier.
