Rossens (, ) is a former municipality in the district of Sarine in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. On 1 January 2016 it merged with Corpataux-Magnedens, Farvagny, Le Glèbe and Vuisternens-en-Ogoz to form the new municipality of Gibloux. History Rossens is first mentioned in 1162 as ''Rossens''. The municipality was formerly known by its German name ''Rossing'', however, that name is no longer used. Geography Rossens had an area, , of .
