Romeral (volcano)
Romeral is a stratovolcano located in Caldas, Colombia. It is the northernmost Holocene volcano of South America, of the North Volcanic Zone in the Andean Volcanic Belt. Caldas () is a department of Colombia named after Colombian patriotic figure Francisco José de Caldas. It is part of the Paisa Region and its capital is Manizales. The Andean Volcanic Belt is a major volcanic belt along the Andean cordillera in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
