Rogue Ales
Rogue Ales is a brewery founded in 1988 in Ashland, Oregon. The company brews their own beer, distills their own spirits, farms their own ingredients and coopers their own barrels. Rogue has locations in Oregon and Washington. History Rogue Ales was founded in Ashland, Oregon in 1988 by three Nike, Inc. executives: Jack Joyce, Rob Strasser, and Bob Woodell. In 1987, Jack Joyce, Bob Woodell, past University of Oregon fraternity brothers, and another friend, Rob Strasser, were approached by Jeff Schultz, Woodell's accountant and avid home brewer, with an idea to open a brewpub. Construction began in June 1988 in Ashland along the Lithia Creek. The 10 bbl brew system was set up in the basement with a 60-seat Pub above. Monstercat (formerly known as Monstercat Media) is a Canadian independent electronic music record label based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Founded in 2011 by Mike Darlington and Ari Paunonen, the label released music on a tri-weekly basis until 2018, when this was changed to four releases a week. This would later be changed to six releases a week in 2021. Beginning with the release of its first compilation album, ''Monstercat 001 – Launch Week'', the label releases regular compilation albums featuring music from various artists. Rogue (band) Rogue were a British soft rock band who were active between 1975 and 1979, comprising Guy Fletcher, Al Hodge and John Hodkinson. The group's original material was all written by Fletcher and his songwriting partner Doug Flett, though Flett was never a member of the band. Band formation In 1975, Fletcher, former Onyx guitarist Hodge, and former If-vocalist Hodkinson formed the soft-rock trio Rogue which released several singles, including "Dedication", "Cool Clear Air", "Lay Me Down", " Lady Put the Light Out", "Too Much Too Soon", "One to One", and "Borderline", as well as three albums. Their song "Fallen Angel" was a No. 12 hit in the Netherlands in January 1976. The group disbanded in 1979.
