Robert Leighton is a British film and television editor with more than 30 feature film credits since 1980. He has edited nearly all of the films by film director Rob Reiner, commencing with ''This Is Spinal Tap'' in 1984. He has also edited three films with Christopher Guest. His work includes hit comedies and mockumentaries such as ''This Is Spinal Tap'', '' Best in Show'' and '' When Harry Met Sally...'' as well as classic dramas such as '' Stand by Me'' and the Stephen King thriller, ''Misery'', which garnered actress Kathy Bates a "Best Actress" Oscar. Lars Sven "Lasse" Hallström (; born 2 June 1946) is a Swedish film director. He first became known for directing almost all the music videos by the pop group ABBA, and subsequently became a feature film director. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director for '' My Life as a Dog (Mitt liv som hund)'' (1985) and later for '' The Cider House Rules'' (1999). Duke Mitchell (born Dominic Salvatore Miceli; May 9, 1926 – December 2, 1981) was an American film actor, slapstick comedian, crooner and independent film director of 1970s gangster movies starring himself. Mitchell often performed his nightclub act in and around Palm Springs, California, and anointed himself the "King of Palm Springs." Early life and career On May 9, 1926, Mitchell was born Dominic Salvatore Miceli in Farrell, Pennsylvania. In 1951, he teamed with comic Sammy Petrillo for a nightclub act. Jacob Aaron Estes (born September 6, 1972) is an American screenwriter and film director known for the award winning film ''Mean Creek'', ''The Details'' and ''Don't Let Go''. Career Estes was a theatre major at the University of California, Santa Cruz. After that, he went to film school at AFI. Estes also attended the National Playwrights Conference at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, which produced two of his plays, ''Free Lessons'' and ''Mean Creek''. ''The Details'' is a 2011 American independent black comedy film written and directed by Jacob Aaron Estes.
