Ridin' (Mýa Song)
"Ridin is a song by American rapper Chamillionaire featuring fellow American rapper Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, released on November 12, 2005, as the second single from his debut studio album ''The Sound of Revenge'' (2005). Produced by hip hop producers Play-N-Skillz, the song's lyrics discuss racial profiling and police brutality, in addition to the stereotyping of African Americans driving a vehicle with drugs and other contraband on the inside (riding dirty). Music video The music video shows police officers abusing their powers. He juxtaposes police actions with wrestling scenes to show how the police treats suspects. The music video, filmed in Houston, features appearances from actor Tommy Lister Jr., Bone Thugs-n-Harmony members Wish Bone and Layzie Bone, Play-N-Skillz, Chingo Bling, OG Ron C, Big Tuck, and Chamillionaire's younger brother Rasaq. Hakeem Temidayo Seriki (born November 28, 1979), better known by his stage name Chamillionaire (), is an American rapper. He began his career in Houston's hip hop scene in the late 1990s. He was briefly signed with the local record label Swishahouse until forming the hip hop music, hip hop duo Color Changin' Click with labelmate Paul Wall in 2002. The two signed with Houston's Paid in Full Entertainment to release the collaborative album ''Get Ya Mind Correct'' (2002), which entered the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Cedric Lee Juan Tuck, known mostly by his stage name Big Tuck, is an American rapper from Dallas, Texas. He is a member of the Dallas rap group Dirty South Rydaz. Biography Tuck was born on March 29, 1979. He grew up in the Queen City neighborhood of South Dallas, where he attended Lincoln High School, and studied music at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. After dropping out of college, Tuck returned to South Dallas to begin performing rap music. In 2004, he joined a seven member band, Dirty South Rydaz. He also recorded a successful independent solo album, ''Purple Hulk'', that led to Big Tuck and Dirty South Rydaz being signed by Universal in November 2005. (Payment required.) Steven Howse (born September 23, 1974), known professionally as Layzie Bone, is an American rapper known primarily for being a member of the group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. He has also gone by the names L-Burna, Lil Lay, and The #1 Assassin. He is the younger brother of fellow group member Flesh-N-Bone and cousin of group member Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Wish Bone.
