Quarxs
''Quarxs'' was one of the earliest computer-animated series, predating ''ReBoot'', and the first one produced in HD. It was aired between 1990 and 1993. Each episode was made in HDTV and lasted no more than three minutes. Only twelve episodes of the original series of 100 have been created. The title was meant to describe a common name on mysterious, omnipresent and invisible creatures that were bending the laws of physics, biology, and optics, discovered by a cryptobiology researcher. The Quarxs are presented as being the only and last explanation of the imperfection of the world. ''Quarxs'' is the only fiction animated series by Maurice Benayoun, contemporary artist who dedicates his later work to media art. François Schuiten
François Schuiten (; born 26 April 1956) is a Franco-Belgian comics, Belgian comic book artist. He is best known for drawing the series ''Les Cités Obscures''. Maurice Benayoun
Maurice Benayoun (aka MoBen or 莫奔) (born 29 March 1957) is a French new-media artist, curator, and theorist based in Paris and Hong Kong. His work employs various media, including video, computer graphics, immersive virtual reality, the Internet, performance, EEG, 3D Printing, large-scale urban media art, robotics, NFTs, and Blockchain based artworks, installations and interactive exhibitions. Early life He was born in Mascara, Algeria, in March 1957, as a war orphan. His father was killed before his birth in the Algerian independence war. Alain Dorval (born Alain Fernand Jean-Marie Bergé, 9 August 1946 – 13 February 2024) was a French actor, best known as the official dub voice of Sylvester Stallone, Nick Nolte, and the Disney character Pete. Truevision, Inc. was a maker of digital video processing add-on boards for PC computers. It was founded by 29 former employees of AT&T's Electronic Photography and Imaging Center (EPICenter). AT&T dissolved later division in 1987. Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, Truevision was later acquired by monitor and graphics card maker RasterOps Corporation of Santa Clara, California, in 1992.
