''Prince of Foxes'' is a 1949 film adapted from Samuel Shellabarger's novel ''Prince of Foxes''. The movie starred Tyrone Power as Orsini and Orson Welles as Cesare Borgia. Henry King (January 24, 1886June 29, 1982) was an American actor and film director. Widely considered one of the finest and most successful filmmakers of his era, King was nominated for two Academy Awards for Best Director, and directed seven films nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture. Edith Head (October 28, 1897 – October 24, 1981) was an American costume designer who won a record eight Academy Awards for Best Costume Design between 1949 and 1973, making her the most awarded woman in the Academy's history. Katina Paxinou ( gr, Κατίνα Παξινού; 17 December 1900– 22 February 1973) was a Greek film and stage actress. The ducat () coin was used as a trade coin in Europe from the later Middle Ages from the 13th to 19th centuries.
