Prince Ernest Casimir Of The Netherlands
Prince William Alexander Frederick ''Ernest Casimir'' of the Netherlands, Prince of Orange-Nassau (Dutch language, Dutch: ''Willem Alexander Frederik Ernst Casimir, Prins der Nederlanden, Prins van Oranje-Nassau''; Soestdijk Palace, 21 May 1822 – Brussels, 22 October 1822) was the fourth son of the Prince of Orange, later King William II of the Netherlands and his wife Anna Pavlovna of Russia, Grand Duchess Anna Pavlovna of Russia. He was baptized on 18 June 1822 in the Nieuwe Kerk, Amsterdam. However, because he had hydrocephalus, he died the same year. Soestdijk Palace
Soestdijk Palace ( nl, Paleis Soestdijk ) is a palace formerly belonging to the Dutch Royal Family. It consists of a central block and two wings. Although named after the village of Soestdijk, which is largely in the municipality of Soest, the Soestdijk Palace is just north of the border in the municipality of Baarn in the province of Utrecht. Hydrocephalus is a condition in which an accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) occurs within the brain. This typically causes increased pressure inside the skull. Older people may have headaches, double vision, poor balance, urinary incontinence, personality changes, or mental impairment. In babies, it may be seen as a rapid increase in head size. Nieuwe Kerk, Amsterdam
The Nieuwe Kerk (, ''New Church'') is a 15th-century church in Amsterdam located on Dam Square, next to the Royal Palace. Formerly a Dutch Reformed Church parish, it now belongs to the Protestant Church in the Netherlands. Current uses The Nieuwe Kerk is no longer used for church services but is used as an exhibition space. It is also used for organ recitals. There is a café in one of the buildings attached to the church that has an entrance to the church (during opening hours). There is a museum store inside the entrance that sells postcards, books, and gifts having to do with the church and its exhibitions. The church is used for Dutch royal investiture ceremonies (as per Article 32 of the Dutch Constitution) most recently that of King Willem-Alexander in 2013, as well as royal weddings, most recently the wedding of Willem-Alexander to Máxima in 2002.
