Paulie Malignaggi
Paul Malignaggi (; ; born November 23, 1980) is an Italian-American former professional boxer who competed from 2001 to 2017 and has since worked as a boxing commentator and analyst, currently with BYB Extreme Bare Knuckle Fighting Series and ProBox TV alongside Mike Goldberg. He held the IBF junior welterweight title from 2007 to 2008, and the WBA (Regular) welterweight title from 2012 to 2013. Malignaggi competed once as a bare knuckle boxer in 2019 in a loss to MMA fighter Artem Lobov (record 13-15-1). Malignaggi was particularly known for his hand speed, boxing ability, athleticism, and durable chin. Early life Malignaggi was born to Italian immigrant parents. In combat sports such as boxing, kickboxing and mixed martial arts, a fighter's chin is the ability to tolerate physical trauma to the head, in the form of concussive or sub-concussive blows, without being knocked unconscious or severely disoriented. Overview A fighter is known to have a "strong chin" if they have the ability to absorb blows to the head without being struck unconscious or visually impacted by the blow through a loss of control. These fighters are commonly referred to as having a "granite chin", an "iron chin", or similar. Uncasville, Connecticut
Uncasville is a village in the town of Montville, Connecticut, United States. It is located in southeastern Montville, at the mouth of the Oxoboxo River where it flows into the Thames River. Lovemore Ray Nḓou (born 16 August 1971) is a South African-Australian solicitor and former professional boxer who competed from 1993 to 2012. He held the IBF junior-welterweight title in 2007, and the IBO welterweight title from 2009 to 2010. The Hammerstein Ballroom is a ballroom located within the Manhattan Center at 311 West 34th Street in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Edner Cherry (born July 21, 1982) is a Bahamian professional boxer and two-time world title challenger. Early years Cherry was born to a Bahamian father and a Haitian mother.
