Paolo Di Canio
Paolo Di Canio (born 9 July 1968) is an Italian former professional footballer and manager. During his playing career he made over 500 league appearances and scored over one hundred goals as a Forward (association football), forward. He primarily played as a deep-lying forward, but he could also play as an attacking midfielder, or as a Winger (association football), winger. Di Canio was regarded as a technically skilled but temperamental player. Di Canio began his career in the Italian Serie A, playing for SS Lazio, Lazio, Juventus FC, Juventus, SSC Napoli, Napoli and AC Milan, Milan, before a brief spell with the Scottish club Celtic F.C., Celtic. Serie C1 was the third highest football league in Italy. It consisted of 36 teams, divided geographically into two divisions. History Before the 1978–79 season, there were only three professional football leagues in Italy, the third being Serie C. The league menaging the C was also organizing the semi-professional Serie D. In 1978, it was decided to split the Serie C into Serie C1 (the third highest league) and Serie C2, moving the remnants of the Serie D to the amatorial sector as Campionato Interregionale. Cesare Maldini
Cesare Maldini (; 5 February 1932 – 3 April 2016) was an Italian professional football manager and player who played as a defender. Father to Paolo Maldini and grandfather to Daniel Maldini, Cesare began his career with Italian side Triestina, before transferring to AC Milan in 1954, whom he captained to win four Serie A league titles, one European Cup and one Latin Cup during his twelve seasons with the club.
