It is in the Missouri Ozarks at an elevation of 1,130 feet, near the intersection of Missouri Route 64 and Missouri Route 73 off Pumpkin Center Drive. Pumpkin Center is a census-designated place (CDP) in Onslow County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 2,228 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Jacksonville, North Carolina Metropolitan Statistical Area. Geography Pumpkin Center is located at (34.782477, -77.364712). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.5 km), all land.
