Kalamáta ( el, Καλαμάτα ) is the second most populous city of the Peloponnese peninsula, after Patras, in southern Greece and the largest city of the homonymous administrative region. Makis Katsavakis ( el, Μάκης Κατσαβάκης; born 26 December 1953) is a Greek professional Association football, football Manager (association football), manager and former player. Career Born in Peponia, Serres, Katsavakis began playing football as a defender for local Alpha Ethniki side Panserraikos F.C. He joined Alpha Ethniki rivals Olympiacos F.C. in 1977.
