Orissa Cricket Team
The Odisha cricket team (known as Orissa until 2011) is a domestic cricket team based in the Indian state of Odisha. It is in the elite group of the Ranji Trophy. Its main home ground is Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. Home matches are also played at DRIEMS Ground in Cuttack, East Coast Railway Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Veer Surendra Sai Stadium in Sambalpur, KIIT Cricket Stadium in Bhubaneswar and other grounds. The team's recent best performance in the Ranji Trophy came in the 2016–17 season and 2019-20 season, when they advanced to the quarter-final stage. Railways Cricket Team
Railways cricket team (also known as the Indian Railways) is a domestic cricket team in India representing Indian Railways. The team's home ground is East Coast Railway Stadium in Bhubaneswar and Karnail Singh Stadium in New Delhi. The team is run by the Railways Sports Promotion Board which fields the Railways cricket team in domestic cricket competitions in India such as the Ranji Trophy. Competition history For most of its history, the Indian Railways has met little success in the Ranji Trophy. Sanjay Raul (born 6 October 1976) is an Indian cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm offbreak bowler. Sanjay Raul is a strokeful middle order batsman who started his international debut as part of India 'A' tour of Pakistan in early 1998. He played both of his ODIs against Pakistan at Skating & Curling Club, Toronto in 1998, but failed to perform well in the two matches. Debashish Mohanty
Debasish (or Debasis) Sarbeswar Mohanty (born 20 July 1976) is a former Indian cricketer who played in two Test matches and 45 One Day Internationals between 1997 and 2001. He was a right-arm medium-fast bowler who coupled pace to his naturally lanky frame. He found success in the limited-overs format, averaging under 30 and taking over one wicket per game. On 24 December 2020, Mohanty was appointed as the national selector of the Indian cricket team. 2017–18 Ranji Trophy
The 2017–18 Ranji Trophy was the 84th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament that took place in India between October 2017 and January 2018. Vidarbha won the tournament, beating Delhi by 9 wickets in the final, to win their first Ranji Trophy title. Vidarbha made their Ranji Trophy debut in the 1957–58 season, making it the third-longest wait before a team won their maiden title. Vidarbha's captain, Faiz Fazal, said that "winning the Ranji Trophy has been the biggest achievement in my career". The previous season was played at neutral venues. The Bengal cricket team represents the Indian state of West Bengal in domestic first-class cricket. It is considered Eastern India's strongest cricket team. The team plays its home matches at the historic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Bengal has won two Ranji Trophy victories and has been runner-up a total of 12 times. Bengal won the Vijay Hazare Trophy, also known as the Ranji One Day Trophy, in 2012. The Assam cricket team is a domestic cricket team represents the Indian state of Assam, run by the Assam Cricket Association. The Bihar cricket team represents the state of Bihar in Indian domestic cricket competitions. It is run by Bihar Cricket Association. 16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there where hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared . They played a similar mix of rough noise, heavily amplified instruments and free jazz inspired improvisation. 1983 to 1994 the group did a lot of tours and played many gigs all over Europe, Japan and USA.
