The Order of Otan ( Kazakh: ''Отан ордені'', trans. ''Otan ordeni'', ''Order of the Fatherland'') is one of the highest orders of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Kanat Bekmyrzauly Saudabayev ( kk, Қанат Бекмырзаұлы Саудабаев, ''Qanat Bekmyrzaūly Saudabaev'') (born 18 July 1946) is a Kazakh politician who served as the State Secretary of Kazakhstan from 2007 to 2012. Yuri Malenchenko
Yuri Ivanovich Malenchenko (russian: Юрий Иванович Маленченко; born December 22, 1961) is a retired Russian cosmonaut. Malenchenko became the first person to marry in space, on 10 August 2003, when he married Ekaterina Dmitrieva, who was in Texas, while he was over New Zealand, on the International Space Station. As of June 2016, Malenchenko ranks second for career time in space due to his time on both Mir and the International Space Station (ISS). He is a former Commander of the International Space Station. Roza Urbiybi Tazhibaykyzy Baglanova ( kk, Roza Täjıbaiqyzy Bağlanova; January 1, 1922 – February 8, 2011) was a Soviet and Kazakh soprano opera and pop music singer. Khiuaz Qayrkyzy Dospanova (russian: Хиуаз Каировна Доспанова, kk, Хиуаз Қайырқызы Доспанова; 15 May 1922 – 20 May 2008) was a Kazakh pilot and navigator who served during World War II in the 588th Night Bomber Regiment, nicknamed the "Night Witches." Hero of Labour of Kazakhstan ( / Qazaqstannyń Eńbek Eri) is one of the highest titles of Kazakhstan, awarded for notable achievements in the economic and social development of the country. Recipients of the award are also awarded the Order of Otan. The award was established on 1 December 2008 and first awarded on 16 December 2008 after a presidential decree on 5 December. Not to be confused with the Order Labor Glory, it is the successor of the Soviet title Hero of Socialist Labour and the civil variant of the Hero of Kazakhstan award. Qairat Rysqulbekov
Qairat Nogaibaiuly Rysqulbekov ( kk, Қайрат Ноғайбайұлы Рысқұлбеков; 13 March 1966 – 21 May 1988) was a participant in the Jeltoqsan riot of 1986 that took place in Almaty, Kazakhstan. He later died in mysterious circumstances while held by the authorities. He was posthumously awarded the title Hero of Kazakhstan after independence.
