Opinion Polling For The 2022 Slovenian Parliamentary Election
In the run up to the 2022 Slovenian parliamentary election, various organizations carried out opinion polling to gauge voting intention in Slovenia. Results of such polls are displayed in this article. The date range for these opinion polls are from the 2018 Slovenian parliamentary election, held on 3 June, to the present day. The next parliamentary election was held on 24 April 2022. 2022 Slovenian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections in Slovenia, Parliamentary elections were held in Slovenia on 24 April 2022 to elect all 90 Member of parliament, members of the National Assembly (Slovenia), National Assembly. The ruling Slovenian Democratic Party (SDS), led by Prime Minister of Slovenia, prime minister Janez Janša, conceded and was defeated by Robert Golob and his Freedom Movement (Slovenia), Freedom Movement (GS). New Slovenia (NSi) placed third, and was followed by the Social Democrats (Slovenia), Social Democrats (SD) and The Left (Slovenia), The Left (Levica), both of which suffered some losses. The Democratic Party of Pensioners of Slovenia and the Party of Alenka Bratušek fell below the 4% electoral threshold and won no seats. Turnout stood at 70%, a substantial increase compared to previous two elections (52.63% in 2018 and 51.71% in 2014). Freedom Movement (Slovenia)
The Freedom Movement ( sl, Gibanje Svoboda, GS) is a social liberal and green liberal political party. It was founded on 26 January 2022, as the successor of the Party of Green actions ( Z.DEJ). At the January congress, Robert Golob was elected as the party's first president and the party received its new identity and name. In its first parliamentary election, the party placed first, obtaining 41 of the 90 seats in the National Assembly, which is a record for a single party in the history of independent Slovenia. Chairman Robert Golob subsequently became Prime Minister of Slovenia heading the 15th Government in a coalition with the Social Democrats and The Left. Our Country or Our Land ( sl, Naša dežela; ND) is a Slovene political party founded by Aleksandra Pivec. The founding congress of the party was held on 20 March 2021, in Maribor. Our Future (party)
The Mirae Party () is a youth-oriented political party centered on the rising generation of South Korea. They criticize the nation's major political parties for not properly representing the voices of young people, citing youth politics as their main ideology. The party initially used the name Our Future (), but changed it to its current name on 17 February 2020. Political orientation The party is putting forward "living politics" for women and young people and calling for active improvement in the educational and labor environment of young people, as well as ensuring the youth's "right to play". The party also calls for granting voting rights from the age of 16, and passive suffrage from the age of 20. In addition, Mirae Party is active in promoting LGBT rights. The Democratic Party of Pensioners of Slovenia ( sl, Demokratična stranka upokojencev Slovenije, also known by the acronym DeSUS) is a political party in Slovenia led by Ljubo Jasnič. The party claims broadly liberal values with a strong focus on the interests of the retired and the elderly. Despite being part of virtually every governmental coalition of Slovenia since it started appearing on voting ballots, the party only secured 0.66% of all votes at the most recent Slovenian parliamentary election in 2022 and thus failed to secure any seats in the National Assembly.
