Nyerere Cup
The Tanzania FA Cup (also called the CRDB BANK Federation Cup) is the top knockout tournament of the Tanzanian football. Previously, the Nyerere Cup was the top knockout tournament. It was created in 1974 and was contested by teams from both Tanzania mainland and the Isles of Zanzibar. Singida United F
Singida is a city in central Tanzania. The city is the location of the regional headquarters of Singida Region as well as the district headquarters of Singida Urban District. The region and district are named after the city. Transport Road links Paved Trunk road T3 from Morogoro to the Rwandan border passes through the town. The 2017–18 Tanzania FA Cup (also called the Azam Sports Federation Cup) is the 3rd edition of the Tanzania FA Cup, the knockout football competition of Tanzania. The tournament began with the first round on 31 October 2017. In the final on 2 June 2018, Mtibwa Sugar defeated Singida United.
