Nirnayam (1991 Film)
''Nirnayam'' () is a 1991 Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by Priyadarshan in his Telugu debut, produced by D. Kishore on Jayabheri Art Productions banner, presented by M.Murali Mohan, starring Nagarjuna, Amala Akkineni and music composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The movie was dubbed in Tamil and Hindi languages as ''Sambavam'' and ''Girafthari'' respectively. This film is a remake of Priyadarshan's own 1989 Malayalam film ''Vandanam'' starring Mohanlal which itself was based on the 1987 movie ''Stakeout''. Plot A sincere cop named Vamsi Krishna (Nagarjuna) is sent undercover along with two other cops. Shivram (Subhalekha Sudhakar) is one of those cops and is a close friend and associate of Vamsi. Priyadarshan
Priyadarshan (born 30 January 1957) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer who works predominantly in Malayalam and Hindi films, while also having done six films in Tamil and two films in Telugu. He has done about 31 films in Hindi alone, the highest number of films done by any Hindi film director after David Dhawan. He was one of the first directors in India to introduce rich color grading, clear sound and quality dubbing through his early Malayalam films. Priyadarshan has also directed many advertisement films. Priyadarshan began his career in Malayalam cinema in the early 1980s and was active throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Towards 2000s, he moved to Bollywood (Hindi-language cinema) and remained active throughout the decade. Nagoor Babu, known by his stage name Mano, is an Indian playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, producer, television anchor and composer. He is a recipient of several awards such as the Nandi Awards from the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Kalaimamani award from the Government of Tamil Nadu. Veturi Sundararama Murthy (29 January 1936 – 22 May 2010), known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet, lyricist and journalist who is popular for writing Telugu songs.
