Leonídio Fantoni, best known as Niginho or Fantoni III (born in Belo Horizonte, 12 February 1912 – died 5 September 1975) was a professional association footballer who played as a forward. Biography His Italian-origins family was a supporter of Cruzeiro, than known as "Palestra Itália". Fantoni started his career in that club, playing with his brother João Fantoni (Ninão) and their cousin Otávio Fantoni (Nininho). Cruzeiro Esporte Clube (), known simply as Cruzeiro, is a Brazilian sports club based in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. Although they compete in a number of different sports, Cruzeiro is mostly known for its association football team. Leônidas Da Silva
Leônidas da Silva (; 6 September 1913 – 24 January 2004) was a Brazilian professional footballer who played as a forward. He is regarded as one of the most important players of the first half of the 20th century. Leônidas played for Brazil national team in the 1934 and 1938 World Cups, and was the top scorer of the latter tournament. He was known as the "Black Diamond" and the "Rubber Man" due to his agility. Club career Leônidas started his career at São Cristóvão. He then played for Carioca side Sírio e Libanez, where he was coached by Gentil Cardoso. Amphilóquio Guarisi Marques (26 December 1905 – 8 June 1974) was an Italian Brazilian footballer who played as a forward. In Brazil he was known as Filó () and in Italy as Anfilogino Guarisi (). Throughout his career he played football in both Brazil and Italy, representing both nations at international level, and was a member of the Italian team that won the 1934 FIFA World Cup. Career Born in São Paulo, in 1922 Guarisi started his career in Portuguesa, where his father, Manuel Augusto Marques, was the president. In 1925 he transferred to Paulistano, where he played alongside the legendary figure of Arthur Friedenreich. In the same year, in a friendly match against France on Europe, he scored one of the goals, and the game ended Paulistano 7–2 France.
