Neelum River
The Neelum River, or Kishanganga River, is a river in the Kashmir region of India and Pakistan. It originates in Bandipora district of northern Jammu and Kashmir in India, flows through the Neelam District of Pakistan's Azad Kashmir and then merges with the Jhelum River near the city of Muzaffarabad. Name of the river The river has traditionally been known as the Kishanganga River ( ur, ) and is still known as such in India; after the partition of India in 1947, the river was renamed the Neelum River () in Pakistan in 1956. Basin ''Shardadesh'' is a name for the drainage basin of the Kishanganga River. Neelam District
The district of Neelum (spelt also ''Neelam''; ur, ) is the northernmost of 10 districts located within the Pakistani-administered territory of Azad Kashmir. Taking up the larger part of the Neelam Valley, the district has a population of around people (as of 2017). It was among the worst-hit areas of Pakistan during the 2005 Kashmir earthquake. Location The district is bordered on the north and north-east by the Diamer District, the Astore District, and the Skardu District of Gilgit-Baltistan, on the south by the Kupwara District and the Bandipora District of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, on the south-west by the Muzaffarabad District, and by the west by the Mansehra District of Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. ''Neelam'' () is an unreleased Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Venkatesh Kumar. It is a Tamil film based in the context of the Sri Lankan Civil War and the rise of Tamil rebel groups including the Tamil Tigers. ''Venmurasu'' ( ta, வெண்முரசு ''Veṇmuracu'') is a Tamil novel by writer Jeyamohan. A modern renarration of the Indian classical epic ''Mahabharatha'', it is considered Jeyamohan's most ambitious work to date, with "a scope and scale that seeks to match the grandness of the epic itself." It is the longest novel in the world that was ever written. Jeyamohan started writing the work in January 2014 and announced plans to write it every day over ten years. He completed Venmurasu in 2020, it spans 26 volumes and 26,000 pages. ''Venmurasu'' was written as a series of books following the general linear style of the Mahabharatha. ''Chori Chori'' (English: ''Stealthily'') is a 1956 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Anant Thakur. It stars Raj Kapoor, Nargis in lead roles.
