Nebojša Zelenović
Nebojša Zelenović ( sr-cyr, Небојша Зеленовић; born 15 July 1975) is a Serbian politician who served as mayor of Šabac from 2014 to 2020. A former member of the Democratic Party, he presided over the Together for Serbia party from 2016 to 2022, and is now a co-leader of the Together party. Career Zelenović graduated from The University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law. He was a Member of the National Assembly from 2012 to 2014. He was also a member of the Main Board of the Democratic Party, and at the beginning of 2013 he left the Democratic Party and joined the new parliamentary group Together for Serbia. At the Assembly of the City of Šabac on June 16, 2014, he was elected mayor. He was re-elected mayor of Šabac on May 5, 2016. Šabac
Šabac (Serbian Cyrillic: Шабац, ) is a city and the administrative centre of the Mačva District in western Serbia. The traditional centre of the fertile Mačva region, Šabac is located on the right banks of the river Sava. , the city proper has population of 53,919, while its administrative area comprises 118,347 inhabitants. The Serbian Progressive Party ( sr-cyrl, Српска напредна странка, Srpska napredna stranka, SNS) has been the ruling political party of Serbia since 2012. Founded by Tomislav Nikolić and Aleksandar Vučić in 2008 as a split from the far-right Serbian Radical Party (SRS), the SNS served in opposition to the Democratic Party (DS) for the next several years.
