Floyd County is a county located in the Commonwealth of Virginia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 15,476. Its county seat is the town of Floyd. Carroll County, Virginia
Carroll County is a United States county located in the southwestern part of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Roughly one fifth of the county lies in the Virginia Piedmont region, while the rest is part of the Appalachian Mountains. The county seat and largest town is Hillsville. Meadows of Dan is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Patrick County, Virginia, where the Blue Ridge Parkway (milepost 178) crosses U.S. Route 58 (Jeb Stuart Highway). It was first listed as a CDP in the 2020 census with a population of 72. There are numerous country shops, classic houses, and restaurants in the community. It is located near the Patrick/ Floyd county line about 20 miles east of Hillsville and about 14 miles northwest of Stuart, Virginia.
