Myton is a city in Duchesne County, Utah, United States. Established in 1905, Myton had a population of 569 at the 2010 census. Geography Myton is located in eastern Duchesne County along U.S. Routes 40 and 191. Duchesne, the county seat, is to the west, and Roosevelt, the largest city by population in Duchesne County, is to the northeast. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of , all land. Myton is on the south side of the Duchesne River, an east-flowing tributary of the Green River. Roosevelt is a city in Duchesne County, Utah, United States. The population was 6,046 at the 2010 census, with an estimated population of 7,070 in 2018. The proper pronunciation of the city's name is based on how President Theodore Roosevelt pronounced his name: according to the man himself, "pronounced as if it was spelled 'Rosavelt.'" Tabiona ( ) is a town in Duchesne County, Utah, United States. It is eighty-six miles southeast of the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. The population was 171 at the 2010 United States Census. Utah State Route 35
State Route 35 is a highway in northern Utah connecting SR-32 in Francis to SR-87 in Duchesne in a span of sixty-two miles. Route description From its western terminus in Francis, the highway runs southeast to the junction of Soapstone Basin Road, where it turns south. Afterwards it heads in an easterly direction to Hanna, where it turns southeast and then east to the eastern terminus near Duchesne. Fruitland is an unincorporated community in western Duchesne County, Utah, United States, on the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation. Description The community lies along U.S. Route 40, 25 miles west of the city of Duchesne, the county seat of Duchesne County. Its elevation is 6,624 feet (2,019 m). Although Fruitland is unincorporated, it had a post office until 2015. Mail sent to Fruitland's ZIP code of 84027 is delivered to the old post office location by a Post Office Highway Contract worker. There is a public mail box but no other Post Office services. are available. Fruitland has an active Special Services District, which brings high quality low priced water to local homes and farms. Geography Duchesne is located just west of the junction of the Strawberry River (Utah), Strawberry and Duchesne River, Duchesne rivers in the Uintah Basin of northeastern Utah.
