National Energy Commission
The National Energy Commission (NEC; ) is an interdepartmental coordinating agency of the People's Republic of China, State Council established in 2010 to coordinate the overall energy policies for the People's Republic of China. The body includes 23 members from other agencies such as environment, finance, central bank, National Development and Reform Commission. The purpose of this new commission is to draft a new energy development strategy, evaluate energy security and coordinate international cooperation on climate change, carbon reduction and energy efficiency. Li Keqiang
Li Keqiang (born 1 July 1955) is a Chinese politician who is the outgoing premier of China. An economist by profession, Li is head of China's executive branch as well as one of the leading figures behind China's Financial and Economic Affairs, Foreign Affairs, National Security and Deepening Reforms. Wan Gang
Wan Gang (, born August 1952) is a Chinese expert on automobiles, former president of Tongji University (2002–2007) and former Minister of Science and Technology. He is the Chairman of the China Zhi Gong Party, a legally sanctioned minor political party in China, and, since 2013, also Vice Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Wang Guanzhong
Wang Guanzhong (; born February 1953) is a retired general (''shang jiang'') of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA). He served as a deputy chief of the Joint Staff and was a member of the 18th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. Biography Wang Guanzhong was born in February 1953 in Zhaodong, Heilongjiang Province. He joined the PLA in December 1970, serving in the army artillery force in the Shenyang Military Region. Shang Fulin
Shang Fulin (; November 13, 1951 - ) is a politician of the People's Republic of China. He served as president of the China Securities Regulatory Commission until October, 2011, when he was appointed to lead the China Banking Regulatory Commission. Yang Dongliang
Yang Dongliang (; born January 1954) is a former Chinese politician who spent most of his career in the city of Tianjin in northern China. He has successively served as the vice mayor of Tianjin, and the Director of the State Administration of Work Safety. In August 2015, he was put under investigation by the Communist Party's anti-corruption agency. Wang Jun (politician)
Wang Jun (; born March 26, 1952) is a Chinese politician and former senior regional official. He was the Director of the State Administration of Work Safety between March and September 2008. He was appointed acting Governor of Shanxi in September 2008 after a botched government response to a mudslide in the province led to the resignation of then Governor Meng Xuenong. He served as Shanxi Governor until December 2012, when he was transferred to Inner Mongolia to serve as party chief there. He left active politics in August 2016. Liu Shiyu
Liu Shiyu (; born November 1961) is a Chinese banker and former public official. He was best known for his term as head of the China Securities Regulatory Commission between 2016 and 2018. Liu previously served as President of the Agricultural Bank of China from 2014 to 2016. Gao Hucheng (; born August 1951) is a retired Chinese politician and business executive. Between 2013 and 2017, he served as the Commerce Minister of the People's Republic of China. Previously, he was Vice Minister of Commerce and Vice Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Gao holds a doctoral degree in sociology from the University of Paris VII and is fluent in French. Chen Lei (; born June 1954) is a Chinese politician who has served as Minister of Water Resources since 2007. Yang Chuantang (; born May 1954) is a Chinese politician who served as the Minister of Transport of the People's Republic of China from 2012 to 2016. Zhou Shengxian (; born December 1949) is a retired Chinese politician who served as the inaugural Minister of Environmental Protection. Biography Zhou was born in Wuzhong, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. He joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1972, and is a senior economist. He began his career as a middle school teacher.
