The National Bank of Oman Golf Classic was a golf tournament on the Challenge Tour. It was played for the first time in October 2013 at Al Mouj Golf, The Wave in Muscat, Oman. In 2015, the tournament was superseded by the Challenge Tour Grand Final when that tournament relocated to Al Mouj. Lucas Justra Bjerregaard (born 14 August 1991) is a Danish professional golfer who plays the European Tour. In May 2017, playing with Thorbjørn Olesen, they won the inaugural GolfSixes, an unofficial pairs event on the European Tour. Later that year, in September, he had his first solo win on the European Tour, the Portugal Masters. In October 2018, Bjerregaard won the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship for his second European Tour victory. Jason Palmer (born 8 October 1984) is an English professional golfer who previously played on the European Tour. Jason retired through injury and now Caddies for long term friend and fellow professional Chris Paisley. The Challenge Tour is the second-tier men's professional golf tour in Europe. It is operated by the PGA European Tour and, as with on the main European Tour and the European Senior Tour, some of the events are played outside Europe. The Order of Merit was introduced in 1989, with the top five players on it winning membership of the European Tour for the following season.
