Narasapuram Assembly constituency is a constituency in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, representing the state legislative assembly in India. It is one of the seven assembly segments of Narasapuram (Lok Sabha constituency), along with Achanta, Palakollu, Bhimavaram, Undi, Tanuku and Tadepalligudem. The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly or Andhra Pradesh Śāsana Sabha is the lower house of the Andhra Pradesh Legislature. The Legislative Assembly consists of 175 members which are elected by adult universal suffrage under the first-past-the-post system. The duration of the Assembly is five years from the date appointed for its first meeting, unless it is decided to dissolve the Assembly sooner. The Legislative Assembly's main functions include legislation, overseeing of administration, passing the budget, and airing public grievances. Chegondi Venkata Harirama Jogaiah (born 5 April 1937) was a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. 2014 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election
The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, 2014 took place on 30 April and 7 May 2014 to elect members to the legislatures of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
